LPCA is a dynamic, progressive organization promoting the profession and the professionalism of licensed professional counselors in Georgia. The American Mental Health Counselors Association just named our chapter as the 2008 AMHCA Outstanding Chapter . We have a rich 20 year history of accomplishments and continue to assist those looking for a Counselor, lobby the legislature for Counselors, and provide Continuing Education for Counselors as well as Counseling Students working towards licensure.
To serve and represent you, we have a full-time Executive Director, a Legislative Consultant, this website, a Quarterly Newsletter, an Annual Professional Journal, Continuing Education Workshops throughout the state, an Annual Convention and more.(more info by clicking ABOUT LPCA above)
