File A Complaint

The intent of this information is to provide a place to file a concern, issue, or complaint on a Supervisor / Supervisee. Please read the information below.

The LPCA Supervision Ethics Committee provides remediation options, currently we are only able to accept concerns in reference to the Code of Ethics compliance.

The LPCA Supervision Committee has no authority to settle business practices/billing/fee disputes but will assist mediation. Do seek legal counsel, contact your professional liability or a remedy in the civil court arena for issues dealing with business practices/billing/fee disputes is an option.

LPCA Supervisor/Supervision Concern, Issue or Complaint Process:

Please allow 1 to 3 days to be contacted.  Members, first, receive personal service and a mentor to assist.  Non-members will be contacted.

If this is a rush, please complete the form for documentation purposes and then call us at 770-449-4547.

For an ACS (NBCC / CCE supervisor), file a supervisor complaint with NBCC concerning an ACS or a current LPC providing supervision who may eventually apply to become an ACS. (AT THIS TIME NBCC does not have a complaint system, but you can try emailing them). www.NBCC.org

For ACS, we will try to assist. Please complete the Supervision Complaint form below and consider submitting a complaint to the Licensing Board as well.

File a Complaint with the Licensing Board:

Only the Ga Composite Board and/or the Ga Attorney General has authority of licensing. We strongly encourage anyone with a formal complaint against a supervisor (CPCS, ACS, etc.) to take the necessary steps of filing a complaint with the Ga Composite Board and Licensing Board. If you want to file a complaint with the Licensing Board, see the Licensing Board Complaint Form below.
