Freud vs. Jung: The Legacy Throwdown!
Calling all theory loyalists, history buffs, and spirited scholars...
At this year’s Old School Theory Summit, we’re hosting a special live segment in the spirit of good-natured intellectual combat: a Freud vs. Jung Legacy Debate! If you’ve ever thought to yourself, “Freud was right — it’s all about repressed drives!” or “Jung’s collective unconscious deserves more respect!” — now’s your moment.
We’re seeking confident, passionate, and playful presenters to take the side of either Freud or Jung in this debate-style showdown. Bring your wit, bring your references, and be ready to go head-to-head (respectfully, of course) as we revisit one of the most iconic splits in our history.
This is a lighthearted, segment intended to entertain, educate, and provoke thought (and laughter). Costumes, accents, and quotes are welcome — as long as you stay respectful to the legacy and professional audience.
