Since its inception in 1987, the Licensed Professional Counselors Association (LPCA) has been a trailblazer in advancing the counseling profession. Through relentless advocacy, LPCA has successfully influenced legislative changes to include Licensed Professional Counselors in key laws, first-ever counseling compact, pioneered the creation of the inaugural LPC Day at a state capitol, championed for parity in recognition and benefits, and secured LPCA as voted #1 for service to members. LPCA continues to lead with innovation, advocacy, and dedication to professional excellence.
