LPCA's 38th Annual Convention

& Regional Conference

Session FAQ

  • How do I sign up for sessions?

All convention registrants will receive an email within 1-2 business days of registering with a link to the Cvent App and Website, where you will sign up for the sessions you wish to take!

On the app or website, you will click the calendar icon to be brought to the list of sessions. Then, click on each session to learn more and click the "+" or "Add Session" to add it to your schedule. Be careful not to register for more than one session scheduled for the same time slot!

Already Registered? You can also click here to add your sessions as long as your registration has had 1-2 days to process.

  • What sessions should I take?

This is up to you! When you log in to the Convention App (Cvent), you will see a session schedule where you can add sessions. Look to see what interests you. If you need Ethics or Supervision, you can filter the results to only show you those specific sessions.

  • How many hours can I earn?

This depends on how many days you attend. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday will offer about 6 hours worth of Continuing Education if you attend all day. Wednesday is our Keynote day, offering up to 8 hours if you attend all day. It will be a longer day, but it is more bang for your buck!

You can also earn 0.5 Hours of CE Credit through interactions with exhibitors in your Exhibitor Bingo if all criteria is met.

  • What about the CPCS Renewal Track?

CPCS can earn all 12 hours needed for CPCS Recertification by attending supervision-specific sessions on either Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday.

These sessions have been confirmed by the speakers  for the time slot, but sometimes emergencies or last-minute changes can happen. If this does happen, registrants for those sessions will be notified and will be able to pick a different session.

  • Why is my session longer than the number of CE Hours listed?

Some sessions longer than 1.5 Hours will be split by break times and sometimes lunch. The number of CE Hours is accurate after accounting for breaks.
