Supervisors are the roots that sustain the next generation of counselors.
As part of this year’s LPCA Convention theme — “Many Trees Make a Forest: Unity in Counseling” — the CPCS Renewal Track honors that role by offering advanced training designed specifically for Certified Professional Counselor Supervisors seeking renewal or continued professional growth.
This specialized track provides practical, ethics-based, and clinically relevant continuing education for current CPCS credential holders and those preparing to renew their status with the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia.

This track is ideal for:
- Current CPCS credential holders seeking renewal hours
- Supervisors-in-training completing CPCS requirements
- Experienced supervisors wishing to strengthen their documentation, ethics, and supervision models
- Program directors, educators, or clinical leaders involved in counselor supervision
Purpose of the CPCS Renewal Track
- Provide targeted CE hours that meet CPCS renewal requirements
- Offer real-world tools for evaluating supervisees and documenting supervision effectively
- Address Georgia Composite Board rule updates and supervision ethics
- Foster a community of supervisors who mentor with confidence, competence, and compassion

If you register under the CPCS Renewal Track, we will let you know which sessions to register for to be able to renew your CPCS (6 Supervision Ethics, and 6 Hours of Supervision under any topic). You will be informed via email when you can sign up for sessions and which sessions are available within the track.
Total CE Hours Required for Renewal.
12 hours of CPCS-approved CE credit required to renew CPCS. 6 hours must be Supervision - Ethics and 6 hours Supervision - Core.
